CAA Package cancellation deadline? Without penalities?

Hi all!

My package, through CAA, is due on August 31st, however, I'm waiting to hear back from my doctor on a surgery date for me. Chances are slim that I will know before the 31st, so if I pay for the trip in full on that date, is there any chance I can get my money refunded back in full in the weeks following the pay in full date?

When you book directly through Disney, the pay in full date is 45 days, but for CAA it is 60 days.

Did you get travel insurance when you first booked the trip andd placed the deposit for cancellation?

You should contact your CAA travel agent to find out what the cancellation charges are. It could be possible the agency does have a cancellation fee. Did they not send you a confirmation or a invoice after your deposit was approved? They should have and it should outline there what their cancelation penalties are.

My invoice shows a due date for full payment. and on the last sheet it says:

"AGENCY SERVICE FEES MAY APPLY IN THE EVENT OF CHANGE OR CANCELLATION".

I will call my agent tomorrow, but does anyone have firsthand experience with this?

No experience with CAA but as a part time travel agent this is certainly something only CAA can give you the correct answer to. I would call them sooner rather than later.

I called my CAA travel agent and was told the following and would like to pass it on in case someone needs this information for themselves at some point (but let's hope not!): If cancelling after the 45 day mark, you will be refunded less USD $200.00.
