CA park lay out

I am looking at the park map of California Adventure. NEver been before. Trying to get a feel for the lay out of the park. When you walk in (sunshine plaza) do you have to walk all the way to a bugs land and cross left to the to the hollywood pictures back lot? It doesn't look like any way to get there other than that.

Actually, if you just make a left after you go under the Golden Gate Bridge that will take you to the backlot. You can either hang to the left for Muppet 3D etc or hang to the right for Aladdin and Tower of Terror. You actually can't get to the Hollywood Backlot from Bugs Life.


It will be obvious once you get there.

Not yet but eventually you'll be able to do this. It was open for a few months last spring and then they closed it to make it permanent. I thought it was supposed to open again at the end of August but I haven't heard anything recently about it.

I've seen construction pictures of the area. It's in process but not ready yet.
