I love that Disney feeling, too! My cheeks hurt at the end of the day from my constant smile, and I think it is one of the only places you can visit where everyone's main goal is to enjoy themselves and spoil the kids! Communal satisfaction!

Loving your trip report. We were there basically the exact same time and were in some of the same spots. We live in NorCal so we drove DOWN on the 5th of June. We stopped up in LA and did some things in Burbank and then headed to San Diego. We stopped in Oceanside to visit friends and spent 2 days in San Diego. One did the Wild Animal park and spent some time with family. Then we drove to Annaheim and spent 4 days at the parks. We were there on the 8th but that was a drive day so didn't get there till the afternoon and only did DTD. But then we spent Tues through Friday. Loved your pics and we too loved the parade and fireworks but both times we tried to see the parade our view was partially blocked and they cancelled the fireworks so we couldn't see them till the last night and again had a blocked view. From what we could see they looked awesome though. I only wish we were going back before it ends to be able to see it again. The WOC was really good too though and we had a great view of that!! We then headed home and did the Getty Villa and Solvang and then Hearst Castle and a day in Monterey. It was a great trip but over too quick. Your trip looks so fun as well!!
