I just asked this same question the other day! Someone recommended 6:30 or 7:00. I called yesterday to make my ADR's and they only had 6:10 or 7:10 available so I took the 7:10. I'm going back & forth as whether I should have taken the 6:10 though........... What to do, what to do.........

Thanks, when I called they only had 6:10 and 8:00 available. 8:00 would have been too late, since that is when Wishes is, but with the 6:10 ressie, I should have plenty of time to be seated, and enjoy my meal.
The last time I went, my ADR was at 5:30, and Wishes was at 6:00, and I was just getting my appetizer during Wishes, and I finished dessert at 7:00, so I think the 6:10 will work out well for me, I'll just take my time eating, and hopefully I'll be done close to 8:00, so I can at least go out to the deck then and watch before leaving.
For my date, I was told 6:10 or 7:30. I was afraid that if someone lingered, we'd not be seated before wishes or not be able to order 'til it was over making dinner very late for kids. I asked what happens if we sit down at 6:10 and are finished at 7:45 - do we have to take up a table lingering over coffee or can we step out onto the balcony to watch the fireworks thus leaving the table for the next guests. I was told that if you have a dinner receipt for Galifornia Grill anytime that day, you can show the receipt for access to the CG balcony for fireworks. Since we can use the CG balcony after dinner, that is our plan - enjoy our dinner and if we're done before Wishes, we'll visit the restroom and then go to the balcony. I'm glad to know the CG balcony is an option - it opens up all sorts of dining time possibilities in my mind. I'm thinking 7:10 should be "safe" though especially if you check-in 10-15 minutes before your ressie time as they recommend. Have fun!
