CA Grill Ressies question

I just made ressies for Dec 21, our last night at Disney and the fireworks are suppose to start at 6pm. My reservation is for 5:30. Do you think we will be seated before the fireworks start? It was the earliest time we could get in because someone just cancelled while I was talking to him. ;-) Should I arrive maybe a little early just to be sure?

5:30 is the earliest seating time for California Grill. Get to the podium on the second floor and check in 10-15 minutes earlier, and you will be in the first group to get escorted to the restaurant right at 5:30. You should be seated for the fireworks in plenty of time! Here is a video I took last December of fireworks from California Grill...

You will see Wishes at 6pm. The fireworks in my video is HolidayWishes that is shown later at MVMCP, and during Christmas week.

When my DH and I ate there back in June, we had a 6:10pm ressie, but decided that we would check in at 5:30 and just head on up and have a drink at the bar and go out on the balcany and take in the view. When we got up there, we were handed one of those things that flicker and buzz when our table was ready, then we got our drink and went outside. We were outside not more than 5 mins when that little device went off. We were the second couple to be seated. Therefore, if you check-in early, you will have a good chance of getting a seat early as well, it never hurts to try.

Awww, what great video Michelle! I am hoping to get an ADR here for our March trip for my Mom's birthday dinner. Seeing the fire works during dinner would be so awesome!
