Just back 10/11-10/15
20 or so visits to WDW over the past 10 years. Always loved the CA grill and was excited to try the "new" CA Grill. Unfortunately, disorganized staff (although pleasant) and very uneven food. I had sushi- still great and the farmers salad- really a joke with a couple of carrots on top of greens with an egg on top- great when done correctly , but a miss here
Wife's halibut and daughters short ribs both dry. Daughters friend had goat cheese pasta of some sort-she said was good, but only ate a little ( I think she was being polite). Cheese plate good, rock shrimp appetizer another miss.
View and fireworks of course great, but for $400 the food and service really need to be a lot better.
Daughters favorite the Brown Derby- always ok with me for a in park meal. This time is was fantastic. All 4 of our dishes and appetizers were great and the service perfect. 1/2 the price of the CA Grill- this trips winner by far!
