CA/Fl trip from email show...

Hi all!! I want to explain a bit more about our soon to be planned trip before you all think we are CRAZY!

As I listened to the show today..I realized.."yea...that is a LOT to do," so I think we can leave a couple things out. I guess Universal Fl. is not a must do...been there done that a few times.
Even Six Flags is not a must do as far as I'm concerned. I would really like to do both states although I have never been to CA.
DH does a ton of traveling and racks up Marriott points which is where we will be staying. As far as going in Aug., we both work in schools so it will have to be July or Aug. I have been the end of July before and I know it is HOT, matter of fact I take it very seriously seeing as I almost passed out the last time. DRINK WATER....A LOT OF WATER!!!

If anyone else has any thoughts...I would love to hear them!!
I love the podcast team but I also value all your help as well.

I would totally do it! This is how I'd do it...

Day 1 -4 : West Coast. That's plenty of time to do Cali. Then hop on a plane to Florida on day 5. Check into your WDW resort and relax. Day 6-10 Hit the parks. Day 11 DCL.

I'd do it in a second! I don't think my family would go for it though, they aren't quite as energetic as I am.

As for Disney in August, yes it's hot, very hot but as long as you stay hydrated you should be fine. We go to Disney every August.

Sounds like a great plan to me!

Hey....whoaaa don't be talking "family"....this is just DH and I for our 10th anniversary.

That sounds like a good plan...I will keep it in mind!!
