Are there going to be DCL buses to transport people staying at DL before the cruise and how much is transport? Think it will be the same as FL?

Straight from the horse's mouth (a DCL rep) -- they are not bringing the DCL buses from Orlando to California. They'd have to pay insurance, fees, taxes, permits, etc. However, they are going to contract with a bus service there to transport people from the airport to the port and from DL to the port. Disney won't let us down -- I'm sure it will all run smoothly by next year.

True... even if for no other reason than that they still need the buses in Florida for Disney Wonder.

As a local So. Cal. and Disneyland annual passholder, I am sure Disney will offer tranportation to San Pedro. Depending on what time of day you leave, the bus should get to the boat within one hour. The distance is minimal but the traffic on the 91 is awful any time of the day you take it.
We are taking Super Shuttle from our house that morning to San Pedro. I guess you can always call Super Shuttle and arrange your own transportation to San Pedro from the Disney hotels.

Is Super Shuttle like a van taxi? In New Jersey we have Rapid Rover. Are their prices reasonable?

Yes, Super Shuttle is a van taxi. However, you must reserve it ahead of time. There is a possibility that you will pick up other vacationers on the way to San Pedro. If you book or reserve online, their prices are cheaper than calling. Tipping is encouraged.

I looked at the Super Shuttle website and didn't see the option of renting them from a Disneyland area hotel to the port.

Also, I am thinking of flying into/out of the Orange County airport. Any recommendations on what company to use for shuttle service? (looks like Super Shuttle only serves LAX)

Horace Horsecollar,

Do you know how much parking at the port is? We are going to be driving from Santa Clarita and parking at the port.

There is a very good shuttle service out of Orange County that I once took to (and from) a hotel/condo near Disneyland. I found it by doing a search on shuttle services for that airport...
