Bypassing rental car counters

I've not been to MCO in a couple of years and would like to know which car rental companies have kiosks or aisles (like Hertz #1 Gold) where I can bypass the counter. I still have nightmares about the time I spent two hours in line at the Alamo counter there. :scared1:

I know National does, but you may need to be a member of their 'Emerald Club' (free to join).

Alamo/National have kiosks. They are great. You don't have to be a member of any loyalty program to use them. Also, if you are an Emerald Club member and you reserve a midsize, you can just go straight to your car. Avis preferred is the same way.

If you use Alamo and use a code for a saving but no coupon, you can do online check-in and then just go to the garage and get your car - show paperwork/license at exit.

Budge also has a program - RapidRez- and you can bypass the counter in the terminal and just go to the garage window and get your paperwork. We have done this the two trips this year so far and within 5 min. of getting to the Budget window in the garage we were at the car and on our way.

Great! I already have a reservation with Budget!

Thanks for all the replies, everyone.

After much frustration with October car rental prices, I just reserved a car with Alamo using a VISA code/coupon from Mousesavers. Best prices yet.
We usually are National/EA people but prices were over $100 higher so I am trying the Kiosk with the Speedy service with Alamo for the first time at end of month. Fingers crossed

We always use the Alamo kiosk - with contract ID and coupon and stand at the kiosk for about 5 minutes, grab the paperwork that prints out and then walk straight out to the garage. Then we decide on a car and then give DH's license to the person in the little booth and away we go! ;)

I haven't quite figured out why everyone waits in that long line when there are literally 10 kiosks available...
