Bye Bye Aruba, Hello BWV!

Had a Thanksgiving /15th anniversary trip planned to Hyatt Aruba with DH, DD, and DMIL (2 rooms).
Thought about the $$ we would spend and travelling so far, and decided...There is no place like home. We were able to get a 2BR at BWV from 11/18-11/27. Are wait listed for the 23 and 25, but they should come through. Still might switch to OKW at the 7 month mark.

P.S. Leaving for 8 nights in HH on 4/15...Never been, can"t wait. Just love our DVC!!!

I don't blame you! There's no place like home! I've always wanted to go to Aruba as well as other places outside of WDW, so I've just got to find a way to do some of both. So far I haven't been able to give up my WDW trips. It seems I plan a major WDW vacation and then try to work other trips around that.

Forgot to add that I'll be home at VWL that same week in November. Can't wait! By the way, you'll enjoy HHI. It was probably the most relaxing vacation I've ever had.

Thanks for the reply. We are really excited about our change of plans. With Disney, you always know what to expect... There aren't usually any surprises. In our over 3 dozen visits, both DVC and resort stays,we haven't had a bad experience yet.
We are particularly excited about our first visit to Hilton Head. Hope the weather is warm. Any one else going to be there at that time??

Ahhhh...the Hyatt Aruba.. What a beautiful place!! Stayed there twice 10 years ago (honeymoon and later that same year - long story!). We actually were planning to return there this year for our 10 year anniversary, but put it off in lieu of taking a Bermuda cruise that leaves locally to us.

Aruba is a beautiful place - especially in the area of the Hyatt.
