I hope not! That would really tick me off as well as probably anyone else that might have/had reservations at BCV

I had a BCV reservation mid September moved to AKL standard view because no SAB or park hopping to Epcot!! The saved points allowed me to add the weekend. I’m glad I did since 5 nights standard view isn’t available anymore. But my guess is that SAB will be open by then and part of me will be sad.

Doubtful. They are there to work, not splash around. The YC quiet pool is more easily cordoned off (keeping them in the "bubble"), and more conducive to swimming laps.

Good point. Kids of ours and of ballers like the NBA are no different in that regards. They would love the pool too.

Original plan: Beach Club for spring break. Canceled
Reschedule for August, seemingly a miracle that a room was available. Great! Was thinking about changing hearing that SAB was not opening during the initial phase, was holding out that the next phase would be by August. After hearing the NBA’s plan, that doesn’t seem likely, so cancel number two, or move that is. On to Copper Creek. Really love the Beach Club, but with the main pool closed, and who knows what other restrictions there may be on the resort area, will now look forward to CC.

Dropped a one night stay at BCV this morning end of July also after hearing all the talk of the NBA and SAB possibly not being open. This was going to be a relaxing resort only stay, SAB is one of our favorite pools, so we decided against staying there. Only DH and me, Riviera Tower Room was available so I took it. Know it’s small, but for 2 of us, we will be out and about all day anyway, so heck, why not try it. Heard Riviera is beautiful, excited to see it, looking forward to seeing the pool and just hanging at the resort for 2 days.

Is there any specific information stating that SAB will be closed all summer long? That seems rather extreme. I was just thinking the first few weeks until more things come back online.

Nothing specific, and not sure would be all summer. Based on current situation, would imagine it wouldn't open until the BC/YC hotel side open, which that probably wont be till after the NBA teams at YC are gone, which at the earliest look to be middle of August.

We're booked there in October and I am pretty confident that the pool will be open by then.

Lucked out this morning about 6am..A deluxe studio was opened at Riviera, so I quickly modified from the Tower Studio for the 8 extra points. Glad we decided to change from BCV...Stormalong Bay is a major draw for our stays at BCV. Happy we will be able to try Riviera for the first time.

Instead of going to Disney this year, I decided to purchase a BCV contract. Now I won't have to worry about being able to book it in the future. Just waiting on ROFR with fingers crossed.

Congratulations! Good Luck on Passing ROFR BCV is our home resort and love it! Not sure how much we'll love it without SAB thus year, but we'll see.

Yes, both of those pools are open.

I Thought I read no family till playoffs. For playoffs all teams will be at Coranado Springs Resort. If the team was staying at YC or GF they will be moved to CSR.
