We are members at BCV and my husband wants to try the BW for the first time this year. How is the pool there? We have a 1 year old - and we love Stormalong for him. Do you think BW is a good choice with a little one?

All pools are different and each has something to offer. I doubt if a 1 year old would know the difference. If Mommy says and acts like it's the best pool, then the Mouseketeer will feel the same way.

We own at BW and love it! Keep in mind there is not a zero entry area for your little one like at BCV and the clown at the main pool could be considered scary for a little one... it all depends on the kid!!

I like the elephant sprinkling water...the BWV pool could be fun for your DS.

I don't think BWV has a great pool for little kids - it is not zero entry so the little ones can only play on the steps in the big pool. When we've been there in Oct, the little pool has been cold (although maybe grownups notice the cold more than the kiddies!). A 1-yr old won't be able to use the clown slide as they won't let kids sit on an adults knee - although you can always do it once before the lifeguards warn you! I've never been to BCV's pool, but I do like SSR's pool - it's zero entry, has a small water slide for kids and a spray area

Yeah, we like BW, but the pool is not good for little kids. And the kiddie pool isn't worth much.

Save your BWV trip for when he's a little older - or trip when the weather is likely to make pools not an attraction.

We've had the grandkids there at around that age and they enjoyed the pool. It really does depend on how the adults like it as previously mentioned.

The other attraction at SAB that you won't have at the BWV pool is the sand play area, which is great for little ones.
I agree, I would wait until he is a bit older if pool time is important to your family.
