BWV Waitlist Question

My DW really wants to stay at the BWV for our trip Dec. 4-9. I figure I will have to be waitlisted.

I really don't care which view I receive. If I have to be waitlisted, will I have to pick preferred or standard view or can I just be waitlisted for a room?

Also, do you think it would be easier to get a ressie at the BCV than the BWV for this time frame?

try today - I would think you could get preferred view now.

standard view you might have to go on the wait list for - but go ahead and try it.

I would love to go ahead and book today, but I must wait until May for the 7 month window.

You can actually waitlist for all 3 categories. If one comes through and you would prefer another, you can accept the one that came through and stay on the waitlist for the others.

Get a reservation at your home resort, so you will have something in case the other doesn't come through.

I would hate to end up with 1 night BCV, 2 nights BWV standard, and 1 night BWV preferred.

I haved booked SSR for our trip. We would just like to try the Epcot area once to see if we like it.

You can set up the wait list so that you will only get it if all of the nights come through.

With already having an SSR reservation, you've done what you can do. Now sit back and wait for the 7 month window. I agree that you should waitlist for everything (types of rooms and resorts).

I just wanted to let you know that my mom called Member Services today trying to book that same 1st week of December. All they had available for her was a 1BR. She was able to get a preferred studio for the next week however. I hope that doesn't get you down but I just wanted to let you know that they seem to be pretty full already. Hopefully if you don't get what you want initially, the waitlist will come through for you, it has for us before.

DarthGoofy - Believe there is another post somewhere that says BCV has quite a bit of availability for early December. Poster tried to book BWV and found it full for her dates just like disneyfanforever's Mom. BCV had plenty of room, though, so she booked that. Both poster and MS thought that it was a bit odd to find BCV ao available. Look for a post with odd in the subject line.
