I was curious, does the BW also have 1 bedroom suites like the villas?
I am still tinkering with our sept trip and one idea I had was to pay cash for 3 nights at the BWV, the rest would be on points at OKW. we have 5 people and need a 1 bedroom suite type room.
any advantages or disadvantages between the 2 things? the only reason we would try BW is for the lake view and see the fireworks. Again tinkering with ideas.
having the kiddies along sure makes planning challenging

BW does have suites but they are much larger than a 1 br DVC villa. They are quite grand. The Steeplecase Suite even has a fireplace! We have yet to figure out why anyone would need a fireplace in FL, but it is quite pretty to look at. The BW suites are also very, very expensive.
The BW rooms are very nice but they do not sleep 5 people.
Illuminations and Fantasmic can be seen better from the villas than from many of the BW rooms.

The BWI also has the Garden Suites but they don't have Boardwalk views. They're bi-level suites with a king bed & jacuzzi tub. They don't have a full kitchen and the King bed is upstairs.....They do include concierge service though! :sunny:
