BWV view requests

We are going down April 8 in a standard view studio. Then going down on August 25th in a BW view studio. Please help? Where should I request rooms for the two different categories? Please!!!!

We stayed in a std. room studio last August and asked to be not too far from the lobby because we had a stroller and didn't want to be terribly far from the elevators. We ended up in 5085. It was a nice spot. Not too far down the hallway yet we were far enough down that noise from the elevators wasn't a problem at all. Unless you don't want to be in a certain spot though I wouldn't worry much about requesting spots.

While it's nice to be near the elevators / lobby, keep in mind that those rooms closest will also overlook the area where the RAC operates. Be prepared to hear the beeping of luggage carts backing up and some crashing and banging in the early mornings from various pieces of luggage getting tossed about.

IMO, a better request is across from the bus stop - especially if everyone in your party can do steps. Convenient area plus you have a shot at seeing some of the fireworks from Illuminations from your balcony.

For the Boardwalk view, the better views are on the higher floors and away from the elevator, but IMO, all of the Boardwalk views are pretty nice.

We always stay in standard. That section is not very big and not a lot of great views. We always request high floor. We get our request about 50% of the time there
