BWV view on cash reservation

When booking a BWV cash reservation the only option to book is a standard view. Does this mean you cannot request a pool or garden view? Are standard views okay, or will I be looking at a car park or garbage bins?

On a cash reservation, your "standard" view will actually be a pool/garden view. The standard view is less points for DVC members and they get taken very quickly by them. The standard views are of the front drive up to the entrance, so aren't even bad views.

And the BW views can only be booked using a DVC reservation. So pool/garden will be about the best or worst you can do on cash.

We always book BWV through WDW and have always gotten lovely views. Once of the quiet BWV pool and once of the Swan.

I have had the center courtyard on the back of the resort twice, but mostly pool views. I would say an even split between quiet pool and clown pool.
