BWV - Try Boardwalk View or stick to standard?

To me it looks like the boardwalk views are very nice places to unwind and that standard are mainly parking lot but close to the buses.

I agree with everyone else about the boardwalk view. Another consideration though, last time I booked a standard view and asked to be close to the elevator, I got the magic express cages as my alarm clock. So although I didn't mind the view, I minded those cages rattling around at a very early time (5:30 a.m? ish)

The other attraction for us when we bought a BWV contract is that it did not appear that you can obtain a boardwalk view room at BWV booking via CRO. Maybe they would give you one anyway but it wasn't a bookable category on the disneyworld.com website. We deemed it worth it to buy there (this was way back when the points were less buying resale) to secure a view we valued.

BWV cash guests booking via CRO/DRR are assigned a Pool/Garden view room. Standard and Boardwalk views are held for DVC Members.
