BWV to other resorts

We'll have 8pm dinner at AKL one night. And we also want to go to BLT TOTWL to watch 10pm firework on Valentine night. What is the shortest route from BWV to get to these resorts? I'm thinking bus to MK, then monorail to BLT. And bus to AK then another bus to AKL?

What about return? Parks will all be closed, can I bus to TTC first? Or must we go through DD? Have a toddler, so not even sure if we should plan to do TOTWL on V-day evening.

For both activities, I would grab taxis.

As an adult, this is how I would do it:
To go to AKL for dinner, from BWV --I would walk to DHS, and take the bus to AKL - It's about 1/2-3/4 mile from the BWV to the busses at DHS depending on where you are in the resort at BWV and where the bus stop for AKL is at DHS. Likewise, on the return, if busses were still running to DHS, I would take the bus to DHS and walk back to BWV.

To get to BLT, I would take the bus to MK and WALK to BLT - the walk is probably not more than 1/2 mile - then walk back to the bus stop and take bus to BWV

Of course, the key here is a) do you mind walking a 1/2 mile; b) will you have a stroller for the toddler and c) are there other children besides the toddler who will complain about the walk.

You said parks will all be closed. Usually transportation runs for at least an hour after park closing.

Personally, I would rather walk 2 miles, than wait 20 minutes for transportation; so I'm always minimizing the number of connections I have to make to get somewhere. You could Boat from BWV to DHS, than bus to AKL - but even if the boat is waiting for you at BWV when you board, it will take 20-25 minutes to get to DHsS I'd rather spend 10 minutes walking to DHS

If park transportation was not available, I'd budget in the $25 for a taxi. Later in the evening, with a toddler, there would be no way I would wait for a bus to DTD, travel that 20 minute plus ride, wait for a bus to BWV, then travel another 20 minute plus ride when $25 and a taxi would get me back in 15 minutes!

Re: Getting to BLT, if you take the bus from AKV to the MK, the MK bus stop area is about a 10 minute walk from BLT. If you opt for the monorail instead, you will have a 5-10 minute walk in the opposite direction, then a wait for the monorail, then a walk from the monorail station in the CR to BLT. Taking the monorail will take much longer and may require more walking than just heading from the bus stop area directly to BLT.
