BWV to Downtown Disney?

How far is it from BWV to Downtown Disney and what is the best way to get there? We probably won't be arriving at the resort until about 8:30PM and will be looking for somewhere to eat. Maybe it would be better to find somewhere on the Boardwalk. I was originally thinking about the brewery but the reviews are all saying the service is really slow and that we don't need that late at night.

Will you be using Disney buses or will you have your own car? A car is the quickest...about 10 mins tops. A bus will take you about 20 mins!!!!

That's what I thought. We are taking the Magical Express to the resort when we arrive on Sunday and won't have a car until Wed afternoon. I guess we will have to find something closer. Thanks!

You could walk over to the S/D. Picabu at the Dolphin is open 24 hrs..is a cafeteria styled spot. We like it there a lot. Or you could head to Captains Grille at the YC..they may still be serving, or ESPN. There are a fair number of spots to eat when staying at BWV.

I was lucky enough to stay at the Dolphin one year, the week after Thanksgiving. I went to Picabu (used to be called the Buffeteria) and had an awesome turkey dinner with all the fixins' - it was one of the best meals I ever ate down there! I went there very frequently when I stayed there. Service is also very good.
