Hi! I read the description of the BWV on the DIS Resort descriptions and it said that some of the studios have a queen, a sleeper sofa and a daybed. Is this right, and if so does anyone know how many of these there are. My DD9and DS15 can't/won't sleep together and this would be great!

this is not a normal day bed - it is much, much smaller. about 5' might even be less. think about the same size as the trundle bed at POR.

your 9 year old might fit it.

BW use to call these things plus and DVC members could reserve them.

now we can't. So I have no idea how you could get one.

bring an air mattress.

These rooms are the dedicated studios (vs. the lock-off) and can be a request but not guaranteed. And I hate to burst your bubble but they "daybed" is really a small bench with a thin pad on it, not big enough for anyone over the age of 4. We always bring an air mattress for an extra sleeping space for our B/G teens instead.

Another thing is one sleeps on the cushions from the sofa and the other on the bed. This give the appearence of them not sleeping together as one is elevated a bit.

As long as the sofa is not the newer type where the cushions don't come off the sofa. That's what they have a BCV. I think that is what they have at BWV, too.

The "daybed" in the dedicated Studio Plus is about the size of a crib. It's basically a deacon's bench with a thin cushion on it.

The Studio Plus cannot be guaranteed or even requested. It's just the luck of the draw.

If the kids won't sleep together, ask which one wants to stay home on this trip. Or, they could share the double sleeper sofa this time. Unless mom and dad want to split up for the stay. Mom with daughter, dad with son.

I think your correct DD started using the AirMattrest (at SSR in Dec)and thats why at BCV not the Cushions Oh well I guess it's an air mattress and they can picked up on the Cheap at Wal-Mart blown up with the hair drier on low heat. You can even just leave it or throw it out if no room to take home it's under $20 so in the big scheme of things not that bad.

We have this dilemma as well...DS14/DD10...we are just splitting up for the night...girls and the boys. Its just for one night though....
