Hi. We've just rented points for our Jan/Feb 05 trip to the Boardwalk. We've got a preferred view studio. What should we request as far as room assignment? We would like to sit on our balcony and watch the boardwalk. Can we see the fireworks? What else should we know about the boardwalk? This is our first trip there and we are very excited.
thanks.

boardwalk view is a guaranteed view at BWV, you will not get it unless it was reserved specifically and is on your confirmation. these are generally booked 11 months out by BWV owners (like me :teeth: ) expect views of the main pool or the quiet pool with a 'preferred view' reservation.

if you are travelling with older people, or you use a stroller, you might want to request 'close to elevator' as there is only one set of elevators for the BWV and the walk to the outer rooms can be really long.

for lots of info on BWV, check out the DVC board here on the DIS!
