BWV Studio at 7 months?

What are the chances of getting a BWV studio at 7 months for first week of August 2011? Anyone have any luck this year?

Excellent chance if you are okay with preferred garden/water view. If you want standard or BW view you should call at exactly 7 months and be prepared to waitlist if necessary. Good luck!

THanks! I am fine with preferred view. I just didn't know how busy a time of year summer is for DVC.

I called at 7 mo. for a split stay in July. I think I initially was able to get all but one day in a std. view studio. I took a preferred view and waitlisted for the std. view and it came through pretty quickly, so I was able to get all my days at BWV in the std. view. Hope it works for you too....

I got a preferred view studio at 4 months out in 2009 and was able to change to a SV studio there 2 months out.

So, it is definitely possible. Good luck!!!

They are looking for 2011.

I think your chances are good, especially for pool/garden view. August isn't a big time for DVC.

I just added Sunday, Aug 8-Thursday, Aug 12 on at VWL. But, they also had BWV available as well. Also VAK, SSR, OKW and BLT. I will have already been at both BWV and BLT the week before, so didn't want to go back to those...so took WL since we've never stayed there before.
I would imagine that August isn't going to be a hugely busy time for DVC.

Great! I'm staying at VWL this year, so I wanted something different for next year. I just the the BW, so it will be wonderful if we can spend a week there . Always the perpetual planner, I'm trying to figure out the next two years LOL! If we can save points and get a standard, even better because then I can squeeze in another trip or more days!

Today, I was able to add 7/19-7/21 for BWV BW view - no standard views available. I also was able to book a value AKV Jambo and BCV studio for July last month. (We had to change our June dates.)

i got 3 studios and waitlisted for boardwalk views..one just came through...so i would say your chances are very good that you can at least get a studio there

I got 2 standard view studios for Sept 2010...right at the 7 month mark!
