BWV Standard View Waitlist

We are new owners at SSR but promised DS that our first trip would be in the Epcot resort area. (It is killing me because DH and I are so anxious to stay at our home resort and have to wait until next Easter and next August!) Anyway, we are booked in a one bedroom at the BCV in August which I am sure we will also love. It will be DH, DS and DS's friend. My niece in Tampa was going to join us for 2 nights on the weekend but now she is hinting about staying for the week (which would be great!). If so, I think we will definitely need a two bedroom. Problem is the points for a two-bedroom at the BCV. In an effort to keep my promise to DS, I placed us on a waitlist at BWV standard view two bedrooms. So my question is..... anyone have experience with BWV standard view waitlist. What are the odds of us getting it for mid August? I may just have to tell DS we will stay in Epcot area next August and book SSR for this August and then see if BWV waitlist comes through. (Secretly, I think I am hoping BWV does not come through so we can stay at SSR!) I hope this wasn’t too confusing!

Well, maybe you don't want to hear this, but we had 2 SV studios booked for 3 weekday nights last August, (Sunday through Wedneday). In February '05 we did a 50 point BWV add on and felt flush with points and in March, I went on a waitlist for SV 2 bedroom. It came through around June.
So, I think you will get it.
