Bwv standard view studios

We have a family vacation(17 of us in all) planned for June 2010. 10 of us staying at BWV in 4 standard view studios. (Other 7 staying at BCV) I know where the standard view rooms are located but was looking for suggestions on any requests I should make. Of course we would like to be as close as possible to each other but it probably would be nice to be half way close to the pool too as we have 3 kids going. What are the odds of getting 4 studios close together?? Any suggestions would be appreciated. This is our biggest group yet going. Should be a blast.

I can't help with the room selection, but I might have a suggestion about getting your rooms near each other. If you have more than 8 persons in your group you can have your group labeled a Grand Gathering. Then you can request the CM's at the Grand Gathering number to add the request that all of the rooms at BWV be near each other and all of the rooms at BCV be near each other. There is no charge for the above service. However there are other Grand Gathering items that cost extra if you choose to do it. We stayed CBR in June for a family gathering (11 people) and requested that our rooms be on the first floor and near each other and the quiet pool and even though it was less than 3 weeks out, our rooms all right next to each other and just off of the pool. The Grand Gathering people also helped us with some group ADRs (not part of their special gatherings but just dinner together).

Only problem with your recommendation is that basically all the CBR rooms are nearly identical. Not so for standard view BWV. You could be on different floors or different ends of the corridor. You'll all have the parking lot view, though. MS would have to be contacted for GG information with DVC reservations.

Maybe it was because it was a Grand Gathering, and we did have DVC imput, but we had excellent success with getting the 5 villas near each other. We had a sv 2 bedroom, 3 sv studios, and 1 pv studio. They were all on the same floor and the pf was just on the other side of the elevators, and our sv were on one side of the elevators very nice.
