We expect to check in around 1:30 pm, never stayed at the BWV and we have no clue what view or other conditions we might expect to get. We'd prefer a balcony over a ground floor patio, the length of the trip to the elevators doesn't matter, if there are stairs that cut down on the walk to the bus or get us on the trail to MGM quicker that's good. Any specific rooms to ask for or generic requests would be appreciated.

There are two directions - high vs low and close to elevator/lobby vs far.

High vs. Low - from high floors you can often see some of Illuminations higher fireworks, but if you take the stairs to avoid the long walk to the elevator, you have more flights to take. We got first floor last time and found it very convienent for pool access or walking out of the resort to get to the parks, but it does have a ground floor patio.

End of Hall vs. Close to Elevator - End of the hall will be quieter and closer to MGM. Close to elevators will give you better elevator access and the lobby (the lobby is pretty much the closest point to Epcot), but will be closer to the ME loading and unloading zones for both people and luggage - which is reported to be noisy.

At BWV - the first floor has the pool and the exits - but the SECOND floor has the lobby and ground floor entrance from the lobby to the bus stop.

Thanks, just the info I need. We'll be going for an upper room far from the elevator.
