I've owned at BWV for twenty years. In twenty years of mainly staying their, we have had ONE room request granted. So keep your expectations reasonable on getting any request granted.

I have 4 rooms for the 50th. We paid for Garden/Pool view. I didn't see a boardwalk view option when reserving. Is that a higher price or are the options standard and garden/pool only?

Although the Garden/Pool view rooms and the BW view rooms are the same point cost for DVC members, cash stays booked through Disney are almost always assigned to G/P view rooms. There are many more of those than BW view rooms, so the BW views are usually snapped up by the DVC members early within their 11-month booking window.
