So I'll just give a short highlight of our trip & if anyone has questions, feel free to ask!

Checked in at BWV on Sept 19th after sitting in traffic for a million years on I-4 - there was an accident. Check in was a breeze. The room was studio, preferred water view, near the elevator- ended up on 3rd floor overlooking the courtyard that is in front of the porch off of the lobby, so it was very nice. Only complaint was that the room smelled like smoke even though it was non-smoking. I tried to get moved, but they were all booked so the sent housekeeping to deoderize. The smell decreased over the week, but we kept the balcony door open whenever we were in.

The weather was cloudy the first couple of days & then sunny for the rest of the time - until Sunday when Jeanne showed up - but more on that later.

I loved the location of the hotel. I loved our balcony. I loved making coffee in the morning & getting donuts from the bakery. I loved walking to MGM & Epcot.

The best points of the trip were:
-Drinking tour of the monorail resorts ending with dinner at the Contemporary after watching wishes from the lounge
-Popping into Epcot for dinner or to collect pennies from the world showcase
-Segway tour

Not so good points:
-Smokey smell in room
-Checking out a day early because of hurricane Jeanne & bunking down for 2 nights with my Aunt & Uncle - although I enjoyed spending time with them!
-Being charged for trash & towel service that I didn't ask for & being charged for the day when I was supposed to get the trash & towel service & DID request it (I'm going to complain about that one)

One disappointment was our Keys to the Kingdom Tour. It wasn't bad, but the girl was new at it & you could tell. I felt bad for her because she was really nervous. Plus she kept using "rode" in a sentence when she should have used "ridden" and other grammatical errors. I'm certainly no English major, but I found it distracting.

Places we ate:
San Angel Inn (very good but mighty dark in there - the visually impaired should bring a flashlight)
the Brewery at the Boardwalk (the name is eluding me - it was just ok)
The California Grill (Fab!)
Bluezoo (Fab!)
Spoodles (Pizza at the counter was icky, but the indoor food was very good)
Alfredo's for lunch (tasty - esp the fetuccine alfredo)
Boardwalk Bakery
Beaches & Cream for ice cream
Mara for lunch (great selection - had zebra domes in a carry-out container - Yum!)
Tubbi's for breakfast (so-so)

That's all I can think of for now - if anyone has questions, let me know!

Thanks for reporting.

My husband is a smoker, but he will not stay in any rooms that smell like smoke. He will walk right back out and demand his money back or to be switched.

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your behind the scenes tour. I really think they need to do a better job of screening the tour guides. We did the behind the scenes at Future World and the guide was from Brazil, had a very heavy accent (making it difficult to understand) and had a lot of facts wrong.
