BWV rooms?

Hi! We are considering the 2 bedroom villa for our trip next summer. I have always loved the location but after viewing some 2 bedroom villa tours on YouTube, I felt like the rooms seemed outdated and tired. Any thoughts? Trying to decide if we should spend more $$ and stay at another DVC resort.

When were the videos you were watching done? That could make a difference too. Currently I think BWV, BCV and OKW are all fairly comparable in looks although OKW is very different in size and layout.

I live close to the Jersey Shore and the design of those rooms is not what anyone would want their shore house to look like. I guess that's why some if us have described it as outdated since it reminds me of my grandmothers condo.

BWV owner here so I am biased. With that said it is suppose to be themed as yester"year" so the theming while dated is appropriate. As others mention bed spreads are gone (they were never a favorite of mine).

While we enjoy many of the different resorts we always come back to BWV for the comfort level of the resort ( I like that it is not in a separate building like most others).

The location as you noted is great. being able to access to parks by boat or a stroll is big for us. To be able to just walk over to EPCOT for dinner or dessert or a drink(!) is key to us not to mention being able to stroll the boardwalk.

However if the look is not for you there is beach club across the way.

Enjoy with whatever you decide!

But if the OP didn't like the theme at BWV, she surely won't like it at BCV either. It's grandma's cottage at Cape May instead of grandma's cottage at Atlantic City/Coney Island.

Actually my husband and I both agreed the look of Beach Clubs rooms were a but better than the BWV. Maybe it's the colors or furniture, not sure, but it was better than BWV.
