BWV room question

Does anyone know how many standard-view 2-bedrooms there are at BWV, and their room numbers? I know the general location of standard-view rooms, but I was hoping to be in a particular "spot" that I think offers the best balcony views. I know that 3123 is a dedicated 1-bedroom, so I am trying to figure out the closest 2-bedroom to that room. I like the location: far from the elevators, and near a door that leads to Community Hall. I know the chance in getting a particular room is very slim, but I have gotten lucky asking for a general area. Thanks for any advice!

Can't help with particular room numbers or the quantity question (all the 2 bedrooms at BWV are lock offs), but I know and like the area you describe.

My advice is to ask for an upper floor across from the bus stop. We've had several two or three different 2 bedrooms in this general area that fit your description.

I have had three 2 bedroom villas on the third floor fairly close to the elevators with a view of the entrance but shaded by lovely rees. It was a very pleasant spot to sit out and people watch and still retain privacy. The rooms were 3073, and upwards I think. Great location no view of fireworks but convenient and quiet.

Thanks for the responses, Carol and chainkid. After having never gotten a BW view with my preferred reservations(before the guaranteed BW view took effect), I started reserving standard view only, and found I really like the location of most standard view rooms. The worst view I ever had(and I would not call it "bad" by any means) was in a preferred room at the very end of the hall, looking directly at the side of Community Hall! The folks across the hall in a standard view had a nice view of the canal, and used fewer points. I know we will eventually reserve a BW view, but until then it is standard view all the way for us.
I looked up room reports for the Boardwalk, and another DISer had posted about rooms 4008 and 4010, which are on the opposite side of where we usually stay. I thought all the standard view were located on the side of the building overlooking the bus stop/valet parking lot. Rooms 4008 and 4010 are listed as standard view rooms on the room reports page, with a view of Swan/Dolphin/canal. Does anyone know if standard view rooms are available at the other end of the BWV?

I was in a standard 1 bedroom #4010 which was a lockoff. It was directly across from the Swan with nice view of the canal and tower of terror.

The breakdown for Boardwalk view homes is as follows:
Studios-23% of total studios have a Boardwalk view.
One Bedrooms-12% of total One Bedrooms have a Boardwalk view.
Two Bedrooms-13% of total Two Bedrooms have a Boardwalk view.
Grand Villas-100% of total Grand Villas have a Boardwalk view.

I was in a standard view on the end near Jellyrolls, facing the Swan and above the DVC offices. Once they remove the DVC sales offices from that area (they are moving to SSR), they may make those preferred view. I was in 3002, 1 bedroom.
