I know this has come up before, but we are planning a trip to WDW for next summer. We are going to stay at BWV with points. Our family will fit into a 1 bedroom, although we are 2 adults and 3 kids. What is the latest on this? Will Disney let us or will it be a problem.

ROFLMAO...
sorry knop, I hope you have thick skin and are otherwise in good health...this will get ugly....;)

Knop-

Not to be just a wise guy - If I knew the answer to your question, I would tell you, I just don't know.

Rather than start this tired old debate all over again, let's just reread some of the old ones:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=53589&highlight=occupancy

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=140007&highlight=occupancy

To answer the original poster's question:

The max occupancy of a 1 bedroom DVC resort is 4 plus a child under 3 (who can sleep in the portable Pac N Play crib). The resort will not provide extra bedding or rollaways to accomodate more than the stated maximum.

Please read the previous debates if you are interested in other people's rationale for either abiding or not abiding by Disney's policy.

Isn't this the resort that people drop dead in the corridors from the long walk?

 :p  :p  :p  :p

We could ask you lots of questions like how old the kids are, etc. and we could speculate this or that. The only way to know for sure is to ask when you make the ressies. Seems that they will actually take a ressie for 5 in a 1 br. However, I can't say that from personal experience and I don't know if they will in all circumstances. If you are completely up front with the CM when making the ressie and they know all the particulars of who is in the party and they take the ressie I don't see any 'rationalization' going on. Now if you tell them you have 5 and they say you won't fit in a 1 br I guess you have a decision to make. That is where it gets fun.............

As this is not a debate but a question about DVC and BWV's I'm going to move it to the appropriate forum. (Also hoping that it REMAINS a polite and informative discussion for the original poster and does not return to the debate board.)

Best of luck! :)

All I'm going to say is that if you read your docs they'll give you the answer.

Since this was already asked on this board this morning, I'll just post a link to the <a href="http://198.64.133.85/showthread.php?s=&threadid=231802">prior thread.</a>

Thanks!
