BWV reservation system down

According to member services when I just called (12:00 CST)

The reservation system for the BWV are down until further notice. I just called and they said they had a system failure at only that resort and hope to have it up again late today or early on Friday. I need to make a reservation:sad: so I guess I have to wait.

Sure hope they do regular back ups - I'd hate to find out they lost my early December reservation!

Well, "System Failure" is never a good thing to hear; I hope it was just ressies - hate to think it was their key-card system, too....

Didn't they have that about a year or two ago too? I think I remember it happening a while back at the BWV. Does anyone else remember that or am I more delusional than usual?

Nope, I remember it, too. But, seriously...I thought it was just a few months ago. Sounds like BWV's system might need some updating.

I just called member services and the CM told me to try back on Monday. This must have been a major system crash. I'm in IT and I can recovery most any of our systems in about 24 hours. Anyone know approximately when the system crashed?

I called at 9am EST and was told that the system for BW was down and no time was given to MS when it would be up. Lee/MS called me back around 9:30 and completed my transaction. Great customer service! :cheer2:

Nanajo1, I'm curious did you request that they call you back or did you place you request with them? Or did they just call you?

I told her that I would try later but Lee called me back when the system came back on line.
 
I got through at 5:00 pm when the person who answered said that the BWV system was back up, but they would not be booking the Boardwalk until Monday, since it wasn't fair to those who called in the morning.

What? I called in the morning. I called them five times. They TOLD me to keep calling back.
 
I'm thinking at 5 pm she just wanted to go home and didn't want to deal with it.
