We have stayed many times at BW (home resort) and just love it. I very rarely make any room location requests and just go with the plus and minus of each room location. Our last stay we we about 1/4 of the way down with a standard view.....fourth floor. Our vacation is all about pool time at the quiet pool and really like to be as close as possible so we can run back and get our lunch, whatever we need throughout the day. In the past I have requested being "away" from the elevators and though we were close to the pool I really do not want to be on the fifth floor (those stairs just kill me after the 3rd floor!!!!). I do not want to be one of "those " DVC members that is hard to please and want to make only one request....any suggestions so I get it close to right....should I stick with, away from the elevators, actually request close to the quiet pool (never really convinced that those assigning rooms really know the layout of the resort!!!)...Is it too much to say close to the quiet pool, lower floor please??Anyone with experience with BW requests?

We got the best room for pool access once...it was on the first floor, a few steps away from the door to the walkway to the bus stop. If you just walked a few steps to the right, across the hall was a door leading right out to the quiet pool. It was a great spot!!! It was a standard room since it faced the entrance...you walked out of the room, turned left and the door was right there. Turn right, and the door to the pool area was right there. Sweet!!!

We had a very similar room a couple of trips ago....#1123. When we first walked into it I was a bit disappointed that it was on the first floor and then realized what a gem of a spot it was!!! I am always hesitant to ask for a specific room though.

Perhaps you could say you had room 1123 in the past and the area was wonderful and you would love to be in that same 'area' again if at all possible?? That wouldn't be narrowing it down too much, but would give them an idea of what you are looking for.

Do you have standard view booked again? I would definitely request quiet pool, lower floor. I think more people request high floor for a better view so your odds are good.

I just called and added requests to our 2 bedroom std view. We check in next Wed. I asked for something close to an elevator or near an exit if on the ground floor. But now I am wondering if I should have asked to be near the Quiet pool! We're only staying two nights though so our pool time might be limited. We did enjoy our stays at Saratoga though when we were very close to one of their pools with a hot tub and it was easy to go to the hot tub after a day in the parks. Does the BW pool have a hot tub?

All of the standard views are pretty close to the quiet pool.
