How do you start your day: Easing into it with coffee and a croissant from the bakery; or joining the race to rope drop?

Is the advantage to walking to Epcot diminished by the location of the entrance? How do you get to Soarin' at rope drop?

I always get up early and am waiting for them to open up the bakery on the boadwalk to grab a latte and muffin, which I take to my balcony and enjoy the view.

Wake up, fire up the coffee maker on my way to the shower, then just relax on my balcony after catching up on the news, coffee in hand. I may have breakfast on the balcony, too.

Then off to a park, usually arriving there between 9 and 10.

I am an early riser and can't sleep-in.

I am an EARLY riser. The day starts with a quick walk around Crescent Lake followed by a visit to the Bakery to refill our mugs. We never miss a rope drop. As to EPCOT, it used to be a disadvantage using the International Gateway. But this year they let us go further into the park and put us on an even advantage with those using the main entrance.

Love to just sit on the balcony looking over Cresant Lake, watching the boats, people running on the boardwalk, with my cup of coffee. Just watching the world wake up!:goodvibes

We usually have a schedule (nothing concrete)...

Every other day we do a theme/water park and the day's in between we relax wake up late and hit the pool. Every morning my hubby goes downstairs and get's coffee, milk and 2 chocolate danishes (which are so good) and enjoy our balcony. We are done racing to the parks to be first, we rather enjoy our days and relax. We've been there and done that so no need to rush.

i agree with the "been there, done that" mentality to rope drop.

i'm norm up by 6AM, so sit i on the balcony, watching the sun rise over crescent lake. it is literally breathtaking to see the transformation of a silent, black & white world, into bright blue skies & the colors of the BW, the bakery smells, & the sounds of people laughing as they thump along the BW planks.

everyday at WDW is so relaxing for us, it truly feels like a vacation.:cloud9:

Up and at 'em. I stroll around the BW early and usually still make it to the parks by opening. Normally I don't sleep much past 6:30 or 7:00, which is 5:30 or 6:00 at home. We like to get to the parks while the sleepy heads are still sleepy and then head back for a nap after lunch and then stroll around Epcot in the evening. BW is such a great location, if I had to do over again I'd buy there. When I bought I didn't know that was an option. I see a BW add-on in my future!

We don't do rope drops or early entry, not even when the kids were little. To us, sleeping in a refreshing ourselves and staying in the parks late was always the routine. We also don't run down to the boardwalk bakery anymore, the wait is ridiculous unless you're there REALLY EARLY. We've learned to make the coffee in our room and get the pastries or fruit tarts, croissants, etc. the night before. It makes for a much more relaxing morning.

We hang out on the balcony with our coffee and breakfast, take our time and usually get to the parks around 11 - 12.

Have a great stay!

I try to stay at BWV at least every other year so not exactly a regular. I also start my day off early with a cup of coffee on the balcony just relaxing and enjoying the day. I enjoy watching the boardwalk wake up. Susan

I am another early riser who drinks and eats and watches the BW come to life. I also enjoy seeing the early morning joggers, even if they do make me feel guilty. After a while I fire up the laptop or iPhone and check e-mail and the DIS.

It depends on what we did the night before. If we are out late, we sleep in but often are up early and off to one of the parks. We are fast walkers so at EPCOT we usually get to the turn for Soarin around the same time as those from the front of the park.

Especially at BWV, I enjoy my morning coffee on the balcony! If I send DH out for something from the bakery, that's a plus, but I enjoy the views at BWV!

Most often we have breakfast ressies somewhere (although not too early). We enjoy a leisurely breakfast and discuss our plans for that day.

The only time we're in the park any time around rope drop is if we're doing a tour!

We have only stayed once, but I loved my morning routine. I got up at 6 am for a run which would go around the lake and then down to Hollywood Studios and back.

Then I would go over to the bakery on the boardwalk and get coffee and either donuts or bagels to bring back to the room. A great place in the early morning!!! Loved it

While DS and DW are getting ready to go in the room, I make a trip to the Boardwalk Bakery for coffee and breakfast. Gotta have my stick bun everyday! It's OK. I'll walk it off in one of the parks.

Where do they let us go now? When we there in March they still stopped us by Rose and Crown. I thought I was going to cough up a lung by the time I got to Soarin.
