BWV question

I'm thinking about buying a BWV resale. I hear that trying to get the standard view studios -- the ones that are fewer points -- is really difficult if BWV is not your home resort. But how about if it IS your home resort? If I reserve 11 months ahead for winter or spring school vacation break, will I likely get a standard? Or will I also have trouble getting one even if BWV is my home resort???

For busy periods, you can reserve day by day at the 11 month window and that should ensure that you can get a standard view.

If BWV is your home resort and you plan in advance.........your chances of gettng a standard or boardwalk view villa is the very best chance you are going to get! Believe me, from many years of booking rooms at BWV--many times the only way to get a standard view or boardwalk view villa for the villa size AND for the length of time you desire---is by having BWV as your home resort and taking advantage of the 11 month booking window.

As more people buy into SSR (and any subsequent DVC projects) and want to try other DVC locations, the home-resort advantage will become even more valuable.

Not only is the 11 month window important for the standard view rooms but for guaranteed Boardwalk view rooms too.
