My DH and I are going to the BWV for a long weekend. We honeymooned at the BW 11 years ago, so this will be a little like a second honeymoon for us! This will also be our first trip back to WDW without the kids (9 and 7). I have a preferred view studio booked. I wondered if anyone had any suggestions for room #'s or at least areas that I might like to request. During our honeymoon, We could see the top of Spaceship Earth when lying in bed propped up! I'd love to have a similar view again!

TIA!

You want a Boardwalk view if you can get it. It is a separate booking category so you may need to change reservations or go on a wait list.

More than likely you'll have a Luna Park view or the leisure pool view and the Swan/Dolphin and maybe DHS in the background.

For a preferred view, I'd request "close to elevators" and "high floor". "Close to elevators" to shorten the walk and "high floor" for pool noise insulation.

If you have a preferred pool/garden, there are some studios that face the Village Green, which is the area on the boardwalk side in between the Inn and the Villas. They have a partial boardwalk view and are close to the elevators.

We're almost always in a standard view, but did have a Village Green view once that was very nice. I've always thought that the rooms across the hall from the Village Green views (Swan view but not overlooking a pool) would be desirable.

I agree with the high floor request, not so much with being close to the elevators--it can get noisy.

Love views of the Village Green. They are close to the elevators, you can see the boardwalk and it is quiet. Favorite location.

My DH and I just got home from a positively dreamy (despite the cold) trip at the BWV. Thank you so very much for your help in asking for the Village green. We got room 4059 and had a FABULOUS view!! We had a great view of the Friendship dock, ESPN and the top of Spaceship Earth. I pray we get the same room in September!

I wanted to give you a mini live report from there, but my phone wasn't cooperating.

This picture was taken just after we checked in. We ended up with tons of sun, no rain, although this picture was taken at the cloudiest moment of our trip! http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=3637142&l=9cdfe410aa&id=711993072

Those rooms do face the main pool. To get the Swan/lawn view, you have to go farther down the hall.

Glad you had a great time. What a nice view! I will need to keep this location in mind if I cannot get a boardwalk view.
