Bwv pool closing

I get a letter today that the main pool at BWV Will be closed until march. It figures my son is not going to be to happy we were at AKV in September and he could not go in the pool at all due to a broken arm. Wonder if we could use storm along bay

prob not. you can use the quiet pool at BW. they would have stated in the letter you could use SAB

Someone else posted that they called and SAB will be available with golf cart transportation provided.

AFAIK, they have always allowed BWV/BWI guests to use SAB if Luna Park (Feature pool with the slide) is out of service. I can't believe this time will be any different.

Our son is going to BWV Jan 19-26. Will the BWV pool be closed then? Just checking.

The info side of the Dis, wdwinfo.com, shows it as "Closed 1/28/2013- 3/1/2013".

The letter we received said it would be closed as of 1/2/13.

We received the same letter. I am really bummed since we are taking my nieces for what will likely be their only opportunity to go to Disney. We booked BWV for the pool and proximity to the parks. Hoping the use of SAB info is correct. It was not in the letter we received.

just got the letter today Dec 26, pool closed from 1/2/13 and expected to reopen in early March ( their words). No mention of SAB

Looking at going down end of feb or early march. Got a good rate at BWI but not interested in just a quiet pool. Will look elsewhere.
