If they are renovating the old sales center at the Boardwalk with more rooms, will there be more points available? Or did they already sell those? I was just wondering about this issue?

They already sold them about 1 1/2 years ago, which I don't understand. I don't think any of the new rooms are open for occupancy yet. They went from 367 to 383 units in the 2004 budget, so 16 more units (the 2 bedroom lockoffs are counted as 1 unit).

Yep, those additional points went up for sale either May or June of 2003 and because of that, we are owners of 100 BWV points in additional to our BCV points. We were so excited. We really wanted BWV when we bought at BCV but BWV was sold out at the time we bought. I don't regret buying those BCV because we love SAB but my first love is BWV!

OK, now I'm confused. I thought that DVC couldn't see points until the units were declared into the member inventory and available for use?

They sold 'em, early Summer 2003. We bought 'em (or at least some of them). Had the chance to buy BCV instead, but we wanted access to GVs. We got our points right away, which is curious given that they are onnly finishing work on the units now.

Hmmmmm.

we also bought our BWV points as part of the 'sales center inventory' in september of '03. we called to enquire about SSR after deciding to buy into DVC and were offered BWV so we snatched them up.

They must have had enough developer / Disney owned points available to "cover" the points given to people who purchased the "new" units before they were ready for occupancy. Otherwise, they couldn't have sold them legally.

Best wishes -

They definitely sold them the summer of 2003 because when we bought our BCV points we were offered BWV points as well and could have had either. Our guide said it was because the sales center was being moved, thus making the room for additional villas.
