BWV or WLV?

Has anyone stayed at both resorts? We are trying to decide which one would best for us dh,ds4 and ds5. Are the studios both the same size and what about the balconys are they about the same size to? Does one resort have parking closer than the other? And at wlv would we have to worry about any black flies or other biting bugs in October. Any info will be great.

Both VWL and BWV are mostly the same in size, patio size and parking situations. I have not stayed at VWL yet, but based on the information I have read on it all the stats are approximately the same. You may want to think about which theme you prefer better--Atlantic City boardwalk or Northwestern Lodges. You will see the biggest difference between Old Key West and either VWL or BWV. Old Key West studios are slightly bigger, and have two queen beds instead of one queen bed and a double pullout (VWL & BWV). Also, at Old Key West you park right outside your room vs. in a parking lot (at VWL & BWV). Good luck

I have stayed at OKW, but now to choose between the BWV and WLV. I just can't decide yet.

The BWV and VWL are about the same size and layout. However, they are very different in decor. The BWV are very light and pastel colored. The VWL have very dark wood and a campy decor. In my opinion, the BWV are far superior in location! You can walk to Epcot and MGM and many restaurants. The Boardwalk is great at night! I also like the pool there better. I would definately go with the Boardwalk.

Tomi, I think I will go w/ the BWV for being so lively. Since we go camping in the summer I will opt for some action in the fall. Either way I'm sure we'll have a great time.

Yes , thats what I was thinking we have enough woods around us. I live in Westbrook right next door to you. Tomi, you would'nt happen to be Gary's wife would you? I am Vanessas mom.

Hi Darlene, Yes, I am Gary's wife. This is so funny! How are you? How is Vanessa - she must be getting old. We belong to the Disney Vacation Club and usually go to Disney twice a year.
