I have stayed at BWV and looove it. 10 year old daughter wants to try beach club but I am going to have to pay for extra points(either one time purchase or rent). Will cost me approximately $300 to stay at beach club because I can book standard view at boardwalk. I also like that boardwalk has community hall. Beach club always seems hot and congested to me when we walk over for cape may breakfast etc and i know the rooms are similar so i dont know if I should go for the extra money to stay at beach club this time around. We are doing a few nights at riviera in a studio and then moving to a one bedroom at BW or beach club. Thoughts?

I really love BCV. I love that the rooms are in such close proximity to EP, the bus area and the Marketplace. I like BWV, too, but do prefer BCV due to location.

Maybe a dumb question, but have you already checked availability? I thought BWV standard view rooms often got booked at 11 months and BCV rooms often are booked before 7 months.

Are you driving? The parking lot for BCV is better than the one for BWV.

I like BCV in the summer because of the pool and being able to walk around the resort and not get wet when it is pouring rain outside, which it will do a lot in August. The rest of the year I always go for a BWV standard view to save on the points.

I just stayed at Beach Club 1 bedroom and haven’t been at resort in years. Now with the Skyliner as an option to HS, and the easy walk to Epcot, I think I liked it better than BWV..which I always chose due to the fact is was a shorter walk for HS.

What I did like...since I was in a walking boot...was being able to head for coffee and food and not be stuck outside. BCV has a covered walkway.

We have stayed at both. I like BWV better due to the pool slide and BC's being outside the gates and across the BW. Im not sure id be comfortable with our DD at 10 doing that alone. Other than that its a toss up as both rooms are nice and locations similar.

If it’s swimming weather, I almost always pick BCV. We’re there in May and July this year! BWV is our December pick!

Is your daughter a strong swimmer and you are fine with her being out of your sight? I am guessing the pool is the reason she wants to stay there. I haven't stayed the BCV for a few years, but it was late July and the halls were FREEZING!!! That is why I haven't stayed there since!

I have stayed at both a number of times (my parents own at BWV, we’ve occasionally gotten into BCV at 7 months)...My preference is BCV, as much as I love the BWV. The pool is second to none, the view of the Boardwalk from across Crescent Lake is beautiful, Beaches and Cream is right there, proximity to Epcot (though it is more of a hike to HS)...BCV is just my personal preference, but everyone is different. There is a lot to love about the BWV too, and I would be thrilled to stay at either resort any time.
