Well, actually, the map may not show exactly what the OP was asking for, but it is most definitely NOT a mid-90s vintage map - I picked it up in May 2005 from the Boardwalk.
Yes, the design of the map is mid-90s vintage. Disney first released that map eleven years ago back in 1996 when the resort first opened, and while still producing it and handing it out to BW guests has never updated it. I have a copy I picked up in August '05, and it is
identical to the one we got from
DVC when we purchased our BWV membership in 1997.
I also know from repeatedly asking at the BW front desk that is the only map Disney publicly releases that even comes close to what the OP is seeking. A "cruise line deck map" type piece like the one I keep describing that shows every individual room number likely does exist - but only for internal staff use at BWV (maybe some WDW Disney resort CM who wanders into this thread can snatch one, scan and post it for for us?

I'd be interested to hear from someone who has actually stayed in an accessible 1 or 2 bedroom at BWV before saying they don't have tubs.
I know from personal experience that the accessible 1 and 2 bedroom villas at OKW and SSR have jacuzzis. I have stayed in non-HA 1 and 2 bedrooms at BWV, VWL, SSR and BCV. The floor plan of those are all pretty similar to the HA ones, so I don't see why they would not have the jacuzzi in the HA rooms at all of those resorts.
It could be the CM's response is because they get a lot of DIS people who have read to ask for a tub and stated their reason was to avold a HA room, rather than because the HA rooms don't have tubs.
Granted, it would be nice to have hard info from someone who has actually stayed in a HA
1BR BW villa (where unlike a 2 BR there is only
one bath area and hence no flexibility to enlarge the shower without impacting the space needed for a jacuzzi). However, I'm not at all sure about the theory that "lots of people have read to ask for a tub."
Why? Not only have I
never seen that recommendation here or on any other DVC related web site, but I actually picked that nice little "tip" from a seasoned DVC ressie CM back in 2001.
I'd called to make a day by day ressie for a BW view villa at 11 months during a busy season, and in the process of making the "request" part of the reservation she said "
based on what you are looking for (which was one of the better BW view 1 bedrooms, she could tell based on my requests I was definitely trying to cherry pick),
you may want to request a tub."
I responded "Why? Do some of the villas not have them? " She slowly answered "

(WINK WINK)
Yes, the accessible villas -- ahem, you know, the ones for people with special needs (HINT HINT - I could almost see here grinning at the other end of the line)
don't have tubs (WINK WINK WINK).
Did the BWV pool have a bridge at one time or was that the plan and never did happen-as the picture shows?
Excellent observation, you've caught a "typo" Disney has never corrected. Not only has there (to my direct knowledge, which goes back to 1997) never been a bridge across the pool, but in addition the shape shown on the map is wrong and also shows a non-existent "lagoon" area near the top connected to the main pool. I suspect that the pool shown was from some initial draft blueprint, and was never updated when this guest map was being finalized.
