BWV Location Question

I'm staying in a 1BR at the BWV in late January. I was waitlisted for boarwalk view and got the letter in the mail saying my waitlist had come through! It was going to be a solo trip for me, but recently my sister and I discussed me taking my 9 year old neice as a birthday present, she'll be 10 the first week of February. I want everything to be a blast for the two of us because I never get to see her, we're in PA and they're in NY. Anway... I'm a OKW girl and usually stay there so this is my first time at BWV. Anyone stay in a boarwalk view 1br that thought it was really special and I should suggest it at check in?

IMHO, you already ahve the best view possible - so you can relax. About all there is to request is close / not close to the elevators and upper floor. Rooms farther from the elevators on the upper floors have the best views of the IllumiNations fireworks from the balcony. I think you will be happy no matter which Boardwalk view 1 bedroom you happen to get.

Farther from the elevators and higher view = better view of Illuminations.

Lower floors = better stairs access (nice if you are far from the elevators)

Lower floors and close to the elevators = closer to Luna park and you can take the stairs to the pool.
