Hi There,

Has anyone noticed the ongoing work that is taking place at the BWV? It is my understanding that they are replacing pipes between the 2nd and 3rd floors.

If this has been discussed previously please excuse the duplication, I must have missed it.

We will be in a 1BR from 12/23-1/02, and again over Feb. vacation, and are hoping it won't detract from our stay.
Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Deb

I am thinking of requesting four or fifth floor accommodations for our trip, to avoid any work that might be disturbing during the day.

There have been several posts regarding the pipe work. Not one said they heard any noise or encountered any inconvenience because of it. Doubt you have a thing to worry about!

Best wishes -

Although we stayed at BCV in July 2004, we did pool hop over to BWV and during a short period when the pool was closed due to lightning, we asked to we could be shown a 2 bedroom at BWV.

We were led through what seemed like endless hallways on the same floor as the main lobby. We past the work being done on the pipes. The carpet was covered with plastic, it just did not to me look that appealing. It certainly took away from the theme.

In fact, when the 7 month window opens soon fro our stay next June, I will be trying to switch reservation again, but I have put BWV last on my list of choices until this work is finally completed.

I think that is about the same feeling many people have given for not yet wanting to stay at SSR until the construction work is done.
I agree with them, why go until the work is done and there is no distraction from magic. We hope to get into VWL or Hilton Head.

Thanks,
