BWV in September

Ok..... So we are alll set to take our 1st trip as DVC members. I am somewhat nervous since I have never stayed at the BWV and I want to make sure that I have covered all bases. I have a few questions..

I have booked a 1 bedroom standard view room. I was not sure what to request as far as where to be located. Someone mentioned that since I have two small children that I should request a bath tub. Also, they mentioned that I ask to be close to the elevator since it is somewhat of a hike. So, I did request a tub and close to elevator. My reservation that I received in the mail indicates close to elevator, so I am crossing my fingers for the tub.

Can anyone make any suggestions or pointers as far as the resort. What I should check on ahead of time, ask for etc.

All 1BR villas (at all DVC resorts) will have a jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom.

The notation on your confirmation is repeating your request for a villa near the elevator and is not a guarantee for that request. The tub will definitely be in your 1BR villa.

What U don't want is a room right next to the elevetor. Make sure it's a few rooms away. If next to it all U hear is the sound of the cables going up and down all night.

To fix that try to get a room on the second floor or first floor. The second floor is the floor that the check in center is located. U walk in and out.

The first floor allows U to walk out onto Boardwalk level. Do eather it will save U lots of time.........Also standard view on the first floor allows U to walk out other entrances right to your car or to the bus. So it doesn't matter if U are close to the elevator.
