BWV II exchange...what view type?

We got an exchange into BWV studio this June. For Interval deposits, is there a particular view type?

We were at BWV last summer/early fall in a 1 BR exchange. We had a standard view a little over halfway down the long back hallway. I've never heard anyone at DVC say how DVC assigns the units but most timesahres assign the most desireable to members and the least so to exchangers, as it should be. My guess, for what it's worth, is that they would give an exchanger a standard view and upgrade a member.

If you can keep looking online at II for a 1 BR that fits your needs. Don't pay the extra $95 fee yet. If you see a 1 BR, call II and ask to sub for it. You'll pay an extra excahange fee which is definitely worth it for the difference. Remember you can call DVC MS for requests and the like. The number will be on your paperwork. Good luck.

I'm doing exactly what you wrote...checking II to see if a larger unit was deposited to upgrade our room size.

Lets say II gets a 1 BR that you'd rather have. You can call them and ask them to if you can cancel your exchange and have that one. It costs you an extra exchange fee but the difference may well be worth it depending on specifics. I'd say an extra $121 to go from a studio to a 1 BR is definitely worth the difference.

To tak it a step farther, if one is a regular II member, they can still look around on II and see what's available using what they are seaching with. Sometimes you find exactly what you're looking for but haven't matched. There are explanations for this but it comes down to II can be a little screwed up, just not as bad as RCI overall.
