Bwv GV

Planning a trip for next year for us and another family. We love the BWV, and had intended to request the GV so that we could all stay together. But, we have decided instead to go with two 2BR (two 2BR is still less than one GV). Have any of you stayed in the BW GV, and is it worth the extra points vs. two 2BR?

I have never stayed in one, but on last trip in December I was able to 'sneak' in for a peek while they were cleaning one - all I can say is WOW! I've stayed in an OKW GV and they are GREAT, but to see the WHOLE thing on one floor, and the VIEW!!!

I too was wondering if it is 'worth' the points, and I guess there are just Soooo many varibles - how many points do you have, do you have other trips planned, would you REALLY like to brag that your hotel room is $1500/night (we don't have to tell anyone we don't actually pay that, but let THEM try to get it!), how special is the ocassion, etc, etc.

My one thought was to use OUR points for most of it, then rent points that we would need over and above something else... Just a thought.

hi: just another thought- having different rooms can be a bit nicer. you'll each have some place to "retreat" to and could make the trip a bit more enjoyable. when going with other families, seperate rooms seem to work the best for us.
