Has anyone stayed in the Grand Villa at BWV? We are planning on reserving it for our October 2010 trip and would love to hear all about it and see some pics.

We plan on going October 2010 also. We went Oct. 06 & 07. I am too far from the happy place as well.

Por Favor Mantag....I like when the monorail speaker says that..LoL!

We were in a one story GV October 08. It is awesome! The pictures online are accurate. I will see if I can find any that we took that are any better. We had a group of 19 family members there. Even when we did dinner and/or get togethers with all of us, it was never that crowded/cramped. We did say next time we would probably do 2 GVs instead of 1 GV, 1 2br, and 1 1br. It will just depend on how many points I have.

That's great to know! We will have 10 or 11 family members in our group, but knowing it could fit up to 19 (for eating, etc.) is just awesome! Thank you for the info!

We had GV rm 3037 at BWV during Christmas 12/25/07-1/2/08 and it was awsome! The pictures online were exactly what our villa looked like in every detail. This was our family Disney vacation for that year. We had 12 family members and we never felt cramped or on top of each other. The laundry room was really nice to have as well. I booked on the very first day available and then day by day. On our final day MS put all of our daily bookings togethr into one reservation. Make sure that you call MS right when they open because October is F & W Festival at Epoct and rooms at BWV go very fast for that time. Below is a picture of our balcony out lined in white.

Fitting 19 (even just for eating) in a GV would not be very respectful to your neighbors and the guests under your villa.

Make sure you call exactly at 11 months out as early as possible to get that GV. There are only seven GV at BWV.

Deb...I agree...what I meant by that comment is that with 10-11 people in our party, we won't be on top of each other when dining, etc. inside the Villa...we could actually enjoy using that space because of the space.

If you send me a pm with your email, I will be happy to send you pics from the grand villa we stayed in last Nov. It was awesome!!!!

I don't think having 19 people in your GV to eat is disrespectful to your neighbors. Having an all night party with 19 people is disrespectful to your neighbors.

Hi: We never were disrespectful of our neighbors during our times together. There wasn't a "party" with loud music, tvs, or running/screaming children. We would never do that since we would not like being subjected to that either. I am sorry that you must have had some pretty negative experiences to have jumped to that conclusion.

I was on your side WDWNUT. I know you didn't have a party. I was talking to the other person who said that 19 in your villa was being disrespectful to other guests. I was making the point that it is not the number of people, but the manner in which they act.
