BWV garden view Standard vs Preferred

What is the difference between the two? I have stayed several times in a standard studio and my rooms have been what I considered garden views (trees, pond, didn't really notice the pkg lot or entry way). I have stayed in a pool view but never a preferred garden.

Most of the preferred pool/garden rooms are over the 2 pools. Some are over the Village Green (area between BWV and BW Inn on the boardwalk side), mostly studios. Most of the standards are along the front driveway.

You may be confusing room types and "view types".

There is no such thing as a "standard studio" really. There are studios that are dedicated, are lock-offs, are smoking, are non-smoking, are handicap accessible, etc.

The only thing that the word "standard" is applied to is the BWV "Standard View".

Most of the "Standard View" rooms (studios, 1BR, 2BR) overlook the entrance driveway to BWV. You cannot see a pool from them.

If you saw trees and a pond, you were probably in a Standard View room. Did they look like this?

If so, that's a Standard View room. If you looked straight out and down, you would have noticed the driveway, bus stop and parking lots.
