BWV:fireworks, restaurants, and 1BR questions

1. Can you still see the Epcot fireworks from the bridge b/t BCV and BWV?

2. what restaurants are in that area right now? I know the boardwalk is being renovated

3. Do the 1 bdrm have room for an inflatable mattress for a 5th person?

New ice cream shop and Flying Fish are closed last I read
Never used a mattress but it should fit

Yes, the higher level fireworks are visible from the bridge and from many places around the lake. If you are not actually in EPCOT standing around World Showcase, you will only be able to see the higher level fireworks.

2. what restaurants are in that area right now? I know the boardwalk is being renovated.

As of the end of April, you'll find ESPN Club, Big River Grill & Brewing, Trattoria al Forno, The Boazrdwalk Bakery & Pizza Window, and several carts on the Boardwalk itself. (Flying Fish & the Ice Cream Shop should open sometime this fall). If you are willing to walk a bit, you can visit all of the restaurants in the Swan & Dolphin Resorts (many of them offer DVC members a 20% discount) and those in the Beach Club and Yacht Club. The BelleVue Lounge (2nd floor of the BWI) has pastries, coffee, cereal and fresh fruit in the mornings and is open in the evenings for drinks)

3. Do the 1 bdrm have room for an inflatable mattress for a 5th person?

Yes, there are several places that a twin will fit. A double or larger could be a problem if you also open the sleep sofa.

Thanks! What about hollywood studios fireworks? I saw a post from several years ago that says you can see from the bridge beween epcot nd HS. Didn't know that bridge even existed! We have only stayed at BC a few times and drove to HS. So, can you still see the fireworks from HS?

Yes, you should be able to see the fireworks from DHS on the bridge between the BWV and the Swan. Truthfully, the new DHS fireworks are AMAZING - you should really try to see them in the park if you can. Can hardly wait to see the next version which starts soon. Good views in front of the Prime Time Cafe along the lake.

You can but the view of the DHS fireworks is a bit better from the Boardwalk itself on the Epcot side just past ESPN.

Thanks all! We are going just for a few days and only going to MNSSHP for a park visit this time. That's why I am hoping to catch the epcot and the HS fireworks, though I just checked and it doesn't appear HS has late hours the 2 nights we will be available for the fireworks.
