I am planning my 2 week 2011 visit (just got back yesterday from a glorious 2 week BCV/DCL/BLT vacation and going thru withdrawal but will report on that later).

I am planning on a standard view studio at BWV the first week and would love to know what everyone's favorite standard studio location was so I know what I should request.

Thanks

I havne't been in a standard studio yet..only one bedrooms. But those were in different standard view areas. My favorite one was ground level, facing the bus stop. When leaving the room, we turned left and the doorway to the pathway to the bus was right there. And the exit to the quiet pool was about 5 steps to the right. The one thing I missed was the ability to see the fireworks but we were just too darn low for that.
The one I really didn't like was up on the 4th floor...facing the street and the Hess Station. It was at the very end of the hall. You couldn't see any of the IllumiNations fireworks from there. At least if you were ground level, you didn't have a long walk to buses or the pools...that kinda made up for the lack of fireworks.

I haven't stayed in a standard studio, but my request for a 1 bedroom was always top floor, across from the bus stop and I was always happy with what I got. You get a good view of Illluminations and the room is about halfway down the hall.

Farther up, further down the hall you can sometimes see fireworks, although trees sometimes block the view.

Lower floors closer to the elevator are far more convienent to get to Epcot, the lobby and the pools.

(I'm more fond of the second. We see our Illuminations fireworks inside Epcot).
