BWV Community Hall

Is the Community Hall at BW just for BW guests? What type of activities do they have there? Anything for teens? We'll be staying at BCV in June, with DD16, DS12 and DDFriend16. I know there's plenty to do at night in the area anyway, but just wondering about Community Hall and requirements to enter/participate. Thanks for any info.

You have to be staying at BWV to use the community hall - sorry! Or that was what the front desk at the BCV told me when we asked. Maybe they have changed their policy - hope so!

Thanks for the info, spiceycat. I thought you had to be a guest at BW. Perhaps the next time we go to Disney we'll stay at BWV and try it out.

Sheri - Don't give up hope.
We own at BW, but are also going to be staying at BCV this summer. I was curious about this same thing.

I e-mailed Member Services and asked them. They said it was OK to use the Community Hall. I printed out the message and will take it with me just in case anyone questions me.

What is the Community Hall? Is it just for kids?

Community Hall is near the quiet pool. It is a place that has video games, ping pong, air hockey and table hockey. There is an area for younger kids to do arts and crafts. They have pop corn available too. They do weekly member updates there that are open to all.

It is a great place and my four kids love it there. I really like it too. I am a BWV owner and no one has ever checked my ID when my kids or I have gone in. I think the only preferred view rooms that are worth the difference between standard and preferred points are the rooms on the first floor at the quiet pool. It is that good of an area.

hi: you may want to double-check this, but i think bwi guests can use the community hall as well. once a couple of years ago, i was picking up a couple of movies for some bored teens, and they said they would've charged me for "renting" them if i wasn't a dvc member. that was the only time i had to come up with "id".
